Old Fashioned

Whiskey, sugar and bitters over a big cube. The original cocktail.

Ingredients

• ¼ oz simple syrup
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• 1 dash orange bitters (optional)
• 2 oz bourbon

Steps

1. Add a big ice cube to a rocks glass.
2. Add ¼ oz simple syrup to the rocks glass.
3. Add 2 dashes Angostura bitters to the rocks glass.
4. Add 1 dash orange bitters (optional) to the rocks glass.
5. Add 2 oz bourbon to the rocks glass.
6. Give it a gentle stir.
7. Garnish with an orange peel and a cherry.
