Mint Julep

Bourbon, mint and sugar over a mound of crushed ice.

Ingredients

• 8 mint leaves
• ½ oz simple syrup
• 2½ oz bourbon

Steps

1. Muddle 8 mint leaves in a rocks glass.
2. Add crushed ice to the rocks glass.
3. Add ½ oz simple syrup to the rocks glass.
4. Add 2½ oz bourbon to the rocks glass.
5. Give it a gentle stir.
6. Garnish with a sprig of mint. Add a straw.
