Champagne Cocktail

A sugar cube soaked in bitters and a splash of cognac, with Champagne poured over to set it fizzing.

Ingredients

• 1 sugar cube
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• ¼ oz cognac
• Champagne, to top

Steps

1. Drop a sugar cube into a flute and soak it with the Angostura bitters.
2. Add ¼ oz cognac to the flute.
3. Top with Champagne.
4. Garnish with an orange peel and a cherry.
